Rink Runner: Disco Dash started from a 48hr game jam where the theme was Disco Deadly Diner. So we came up with the concept of a 90s roller rink where you play as the waiter delivering food to patrons around the rink. It was a very fun project to work on and after the jam we spent some time tidying elements up and running some playtests at local events. It was really interesting to see how people crowded around this game and just wanted to watch, with one person remarking that it had a similar hypnotic effect to 'Subway Surfers'.
